ABOUT
THE COMPOSER vmassmp3.htm
Val
Goldsack is a self-taught musician who has been writing
and
creating liturgical music for around fifteen years.
At
firs she wrote for her own church family, later as a
resource
for
prayer groups, and now for the church at
large.
This
probably explains who her songs can be used in such a
variety
of situations - in services, prayer groups, meditation
and
most certainly for soothing listening.
She
creates a most personal sound.
It
is presented gently and prayerfully with her acoustic
guitar.
Colin
Mawby, who produced this album with Richard Lewis,
says
of Val's voice: 'It is quite unique in its alto quality
and its
sense
of spirituality - a new and exciting sound.
The
music is obviously rooted in prayer and a love for God.
I
found it very soothing to work with
Val.'
